In November 2000, a group of Filipino scuba diving instructors began talking about the state of the local diving industry and business opportunities still existing in Boracay Island amidst the many challenges facing the tourism industry of the Philippines. Armed with expertise, enthusiasm and diligence, they conceptualized the ideal scuba diving facility in Boracay Island - New Wave Divers.

New Wave Divers intend to revolutionize the scuba diving industry in Boracay Island and the Philippines by:

• Bringing back the joy of scuba diving to our customers by answering their basic needs: safety, comfort and fun.
• Uplifting the quality of local diving by using high-quality scuba diving equipment.
• Raising diving safety standards by using modern telecommunications equipment to facilitate emergency situations and by constantly engaging in rescue and first aid training.
