SEA EXPLORERS, INC., founded in 1986 by Chris Heim and Patrick Gillieron, is active across the whole of the Visayas. This swiss-owned dive centre is the most experienced operator in the area. SEA EXPLORERS operates six dive centres in this southern Philippines region, namely at El Dorado Beach Resort, Dumaguete-Dauin, Negros Oriental (our flagship divecentre), Alona Beach, Panglao, Cabilao Island on Bohol, Moalboal-Cebu, Malapascua-Cebu North, Siquijor Island and we are affiliated with Sabang Divers in Puerto Galera.

In 1998 SEA EXPLORERS and EL DORADO BEACH RESORT were upgraded to a PADI 5* GOLD PALM IDC CENTER, one of the first in the Philippines.

The Instructor Development Courses (PADI IDC) and Examinations (PADI IE) are usually held in May and November at El Dorado Beach Resort in Dumaguete-Dauin.
