In the center of the Sulu Sea lie twin atolls known as Tubbataha. A large concentration of marine life inhabit this reef surrounded by depths well over 3,000 feet. Some 2000 varieties of fish have been identified along with Manta rays, white and black tip sharks, nurse guitar, bull and hammer heads. The reef walls support an amazing array of soft and hard corals in a spectacular kaleidoscope of color and life. We visit the islands and reefs of this magnificent region between the months of March and June.
